“The Beast and the Sovereign: Where the Wild Things Are: Humans, Animals and Children”

SPEAKERS: Jack Halberstam (Professor of English and Comparative Literature and the Institute for Research on Women, Gender and Sexuality, Columbia University) and Paige West (Claire Tow Professor of Anthropology, Barnard College and Columbia University)

We will be having dinner beforehand at Faculty House at 6:00. Although there’s no need to reserve a spot for the talk, please email vcw2106@columbia.edu ASAP (by Monday, February 5th at the latest) if you would like to come to dinner. Reservations must be made in advance, and we cannot promise that last-minute requests to join dinner will be accommodated.  Please note that attendees are responsible for the cost of dinner. Dinner will cost $30 per person and is payable only by check.
