Future of Disability Studies

Friday, September 27, 2013 - 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Location:
Barnard Hall Room 409

William Peace (Syracuse University) will discuss his new paper, "Assisted Suicide and at Risk Populations: From Jack Kevorkian to Christina Symanski." Stephen Kuusisto (Syracuse University) will respond. Closer to the date, we will be sending you a copy of Bill's paper to  read in advance.

If you plan to attend, please RSVP by replying to this email no later than *TUESDAY, 9/24* so we can be sure to have sufficient space and food for everyone. Include any special dietary needs in your message. If you will require accommodations because of a disability, please contact Jason Fitzgerald at jtf2113@columbia.edu as soon as possible, and no later than Friday September 20.

This fall we will have a new project assistant, Jason Fitzgerald.  I look forward to introducing him to you on September 27.  Please mark your calendars for the other two meetings this fall:  October 25 (Penny Woolfson, with Bill Peace responding) and December 6 (Ann Jurecic).

We hope to see many of you on the 27th!
