Biography
Kaagni is a fourth-year PhD Candidate in the Department of English and Comparative Literature. As a scholar of Postcolonial Studies, her dissertation examines the relationship between the family and the postcolonial state in India as mediated by genre in Anglophone novels and popular film. Her other interests include gendered and reproductive labour and justice, abolition, and global histories of neoliberalism.
