Please join the Columbia University Medieval Colloquium on Friday, February 21 for a talk by Professor Nicholas Watson, Chair of Medieval Studies at Harvard University. Professor Watson will be speaking on the topic of, "The Construction of Sacred Power: Vision and Liturgy in John of Morigny's Book of Flowers (1301-1315)."  The event will take place in 516 Hamilton at 6:00 PM.

Limited spaces are available for dinner with Professor Watson following the event.  If you would like to attend the dinner, please send an email to medguild@gmail.com no later than Wednesday February 19(Please note that students and faculty will be asked to contribute to the cost of the dinner, $15 and $25 respectively, which must be paid to the event organizers in advance.  Reservations for the talk itself are not necessary).
