The Columbia University Seminar in Literary Theory will be meeting tonight from 7:15 to 9:00 p.m. at the Heyman Center.  Our speaker is Nikil Saval of Stanford University.  The author of the forthcoming book *A History of the Office*, and an editor at n+1, Savalwill be continuing the theme "what theory does a young writer need?"  Nicholas Dames, of Columbia English, will serve as respondent.  As usual, we'll have dinner at the nearby Amsterdam Cafe at 6:00.
