Biography
Evelyn Giron-Aguilar is a PhD student in the Department of English and Comparative Literature. Her research examines transitory violence and plutocratic logics in Central American diasporic literature and archives. Engaging in transnational critical frameworks, she explores questions of origins, belonging, and the politics of memory.
She holds a BA in English, Chicanx Studies, and Central American Studies from UCLA.
