Biography
Jonathan Reeve conducts research in quantitative literary study, combining the methods of data science, computational linguistics, and literary criticism. His dissertation, The Eye of Modernism: Quantitative Analysis of Visuality in British Literature, is expected to be published in 2023. He maintains a number of software packages for text analysis, and has taught in the departments of English, Statistics, and Computer Science at Columbia University, as well as in the Digital Humanities department of the University of California, Berkeley. He currently works as a research scientist in artificial intelligence and machine learning at Apple.
