Biography
Kiara Mallory is a Ph.D. student in English and Comparative Literature. She studies African American literature and existential philosophy to understand articulations of being and existence mediated through the epistolary form and genre. She is primarily interested in modes to and ideas of Black aliveness. Prior to doctoral study, she completed a B.A. in English Literature and African & African American Studies at Washington University in St. Louis and a Post Baccalaureate in English at Yale University.
