Biography

Kristin Perkins is a doctoral student at Columbia University, researching the intersection of theatre and religion primarily in the 20th century United States. Her scholarship has been published in Theatre Topics, Ecumenica, SFRA Review, and Borrowers and Lenders. She has also written for American Theatre Magazine and Howlround. She graduated with her M.A. in Performance as Public Practice from the University of Texas at Austin in 2019. She was a 2020 Fulbright grantee and a 2018 Emerging Scholar in Theatre and Religion (ATHE).
