Andrew Leland is the author of The Country of the Blind: A Memoir at the End of Sight, which was a finalist for the 2024 Pulitzer Prize in Memoir. His essays and feature writing have appeared in The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, The Baffler, New York, Art in America, the Believer, and elsewhere. He's produced pieces for Radiolab, 99 Percent Invisible, and the New Yorker Radio Hour. He's the 2024-6 Koeppel Fellow in Journalism at Wesleyan University.
