Brent Hayes Edwards, the Peng Family Professor of English and Comparative Literature, has won the Jazz Journalist Association’s Book of the Year Award about Jazz: Biography or Autobiography for Easily Slip Into Another World: A Life in Music, written with Henry Threadgill (Penguin Random House).
