Hannah Weaver, Assistant Professor of English and Comparative Literature, launched a new podcast, Proust Curious, in partnership with Public Books. You can listen to a teaser now on Apple and Spotify. The first episode releases on Monday, September 16.
Proust Curious is a podcast about the experience of reading À la recherche du temps perdu – all seven volumes. Written between 1906 and 1922, published between 1913 and 1927, Marcel Proust’s cultural touchstone is an object of enduring fascination and, let’s face it, intimidation. Hannah Weaver co-hosts the miniseries with Emma Claussen; they're PhDs in French literature and decidedly not Proust experts.
Congratulations, Professor Weaver!
