On October 10th, the Committee on Global Thought and the SOF/Heyman Center for the Humanities will be hosting historians Adam Tooze and Deborah Cohen to discuss Cohen’s new book, Last Call at the Hotel Imperial. This event will be moderated by Professor Sharon Marcus–the Orlando Harriman Professor of English and Comparative Literature.
Hailed by the New Yorker as "effervescent," Cohen’s newest book explores a globe-trotting set of interwar American reporters who raised the alarm about the rise of fascism and rewrote the rules of journalism along the way.
