Denise Cruz has won a 2020 Office of the Provost Teaching and Learning Grant for Innovative Course Design. Her project, Reimagining the Humanities Lecture in a Transnational, Post-Pandemic World, builds on her popular lecture course Introduction to Asian American Literature.
The pandemic has shown, and will continue to show, how important the humanities are to the major questions a society must ask during a time like this.
