Nicole B. Wallack (UWP-English & Comp Lit, Columbia University), Mario Aquilina (University of Malta), and Bob Cowser, Jr. (St. Lawrence University) will host a roundtable and reading with Columbia faculty contributors—including Bruce Robbins and Alan Stewart—in celebration of The Edinburgh Companion to the Essay (Edinburgh University Press, 2022).

Panelists will discuss the essay as a genre and praxis and read from their chapters. Informal conversation and refreshments to follow.
